Searchers are expected to be back on the South Saskatchewan River today looking for the body a missing man.
Myles Macintosh, who is from Nova Scotia, has been missing since February 2 and is presumed drowned.
His family created an account on the fundraising website, FundRazr, to collect $5,000 to continue the search. They've now raised more than $6,600 to bring 10 volunteer searchers from Grandmother's Bay to conduct the search.
The family set out to raise the money after Saskatoon police said last week that it's likely his body has moved downstream so their sonar search in this area is over. Officers will continue to look along the river by air and fire department divers will continue periodic searches over the next few weeks.
The family said any leftover money will be used to get MacIntosh's body home to Nova Scotia once it's found.
