A home was badly damaged, but no one was hurt in an early morning fire in Saskatoon’s Sutherland neighbourhood.

In a new release, the fire department said that the call came in around 1 a.m. CST.

Fire crews from a number of stations responded to the home at 1528 Central Avenue.

When they arrived they found two vehicles and an attached garage on fire. Firefighters made sure everyone was out of the house, and attacked the fire as it spread onto the main floor of the home. It took almost an hour to bring the fire under control.

The fire did about $120,000 in damage.

The cause is under investigation.
