Drivers urged to take care on Circle Drive South

If your route to work includes Circle Drive South, you should watch for construction at the CN Rail walkway north of the 11th Street West overpass over the next couple of days.

Here’s how it will impact your commute.

Today

Work crews will be in the northbound curb lane on Circle Drive, north of the 11st Street West overpass this morning. The curb lane is expected to reopen around noon CST.  The northbound median is then expected to close, and is set to reopen by 3 p.m. CST.

Friday

At 9 a.m. CST the southbound curb lane on Circle Drive north of the 11st Street West overpass will close. It’s expected to reopen at noon. Then the southbound median lane will close. It will reopen at 3 p.m. CST.

City Hall is reminding drivers to allow for extra time travelling through construction zones, watch for pedestrians and work crews, and for everyone’s safety, obey all detours, signs and barriers.
