Saskatoon crews are out Thursday morning trying to clear the latest snowfall from the busiest streets in the city.
The latest information from the City of Saskatoon suggests that about seven centimetres of snow, driven by strong winds, fell yesterday.
Right now, crews are working on priority one and two streets. Those streets include the freeway and access to any emergency services and hospitals. It also includes bus routes, and busy roads such as Broadway Avenue, Fairlight Drive, and 37th Street.
For now, the city-wide effort to remove snow and shave down ice ruts is temporarily suspended as crews work to clear the priority roads.
More to follow.
