The city's 40th annual pancake breakfast kicks off this morning at 7 a.m. CST in front of city hall.
The $5-per-plate fee will get you pancakes, sausage, coffee or juice. All the money raised goes to the United Way.
The city bills this as a zero waste event -- with all the supplies compostable, recyclable or re-usable.
And, it's not just all about the pancakes. There is also an obstacle water relay race and live entertainment through the morning. The events wraps up at 10:30.
