Laid Back Cool

His music is the kind you could mellow out to on a back yard patio.

Chad VanGaalen

Chad VanGaalen will be spreading his unique sound across Saskatchewan this weekend. (Bryan Webb)

Chad VanGaalen is a swirl of electronic beats and reverb with a classic folk flair.

He's never been in a full fledged recording studio and I kinda think that's just the way he likes it.

VanGaalen has a new album out called 'Shrink Dust' and he's out on the road to promote it.

Regina audiences can see it Thursday night at the Exchange.

Then Saturday VanGaalen will be joined by fellow Calgary act the Viet Cong.

That show is at Amigos Cantina.
