Coming Home

He's pretty much the biggest comedic talent to ever come out of Saskatchewan and this weekend, Brent Butt is coming home.

The Corner Gas star is hitting the road for the first time since his hit series debuted.

Brent Butt

Saskatchewan's favourite funnyman returns to the Regina stage Friday and Saturday night. (brentbutt.com)

Butt has been busy working on his first feature film, No Clue, that will be released March 7th.

As far as his stand-up goes, it's the same prairie-infused joking around that we love him for.

Butt is bringing along a talented friend as well. Erica Sigurdson is an award winning comedy writer that has been featured on CBC Radio's The Debaters.

Catch the show Friday and Saturday night at the Casino Regina Show Lounge.

Welcome to the Jungle

If you miss rock and roll the way Axl used to do it, there's a pair of shows you'll want to check out in Saskatoon.

The Nightrain, a Guns N' Roses tribute band, is at it again this weekend.

They have become a favourite party band because they don't just play the tunes, they do it all — costumes, instruments, and of course, that certain swagger that Slash made famous.

The Nightrain will take the stage Friday and Saturday night at Bud's on Broadway.

Love-ly Time

Is it true love, or is it acting? When will I be loved? What about the art of love?

All these questions and more will be answered in a Valentine's themed production by Ball & Chain Theatre.

Love/Stories (or, But You Will Get Used To It) is opening this week and it's a series of vignettes all about l'amour.

The actors play multiple characters as the stories examine if there is such a thing as chemistry between two people.

The play is running at The Refinery this weekend and next weekend in Saskatoon.

The perfect date.
