Pyro-Playtime

Look up, way up and you'll see some of the most spectacular fireworks in Canada, all set to music this weekend.

The PotashCorp Fireworks Festival is back for another year.

Some of the best teams in the country will put on two nights full of fire in the sky.

Not all the fun is for when the sun sets.

There will be facepainting, bouncy castles and plenty of entertainment for the whole family.

Performances on the mainstage include bands like Absofunkinlutely, the Classy Chassys and the Oral Fuentes Reggae Band.

The party kicks off at River Landing Friday night and runs until Saturday.

And if the weather is ugly on either night, the organizers say the big show will be moved to Sunday.

Walk Through Time

It's a chance to experience the pioneer traditions of this province and do it in an historic place.

The Marr Residence is holding its annual Harvest Fair.

There will be demonstrations, crafts and plenty of homemade preserves to sample.

You can earn real bragging rights for your own pickles, jams and jellies... just make sure you get those entries in early.

The Marr was one of the first homes ever built in Saskatoon and it still stands along with these much loved traditions today.
