Armed robbery at Saskatoon brew pub leads to 1 arrest

Police arrested one man, and are still looking for another suspect after a hold-up at a north end brew pub early this morning.

Police still looking for 2nd suspect

A 26-year old man is in custody, after a hold-up just after midnight at the Fox & Hounds Pub and Brewery.

Police say two men entered the pub's offsale just after midnight, holding what appeared to be a sawed-off rifle. They left with an undisclosed amount of cash, and two bottles of alcohol.

Officers caught up with a 26-year old man near the parking lot. They're still looking for a second suspect.

A canine unit searched the area following the robbery, turning up the gun, a knife, and a pile of discarded clothing that police believe the second man was wearing. They're asking anyone with information about the crime to contact Crime Stoppers.
