Ryan Pegg woke early Friday morning to find his 1988 Honda CRX in his driveway more or less intact, except for the fact it was propped up on wooden blocks and the wheels and tires were gone.

He said he left the car out on his driveway in the East College Park neighbourhood about a week ago, because he and his band were practicing in his garage.

"I was out there last night, thinking I should move it back into the garage. But I guess I was too late," he said. "I woke up this morning, and they were gone."

He said it was at about 6:15 a.m. CST when he first checked on his car.

"If we can get this out there, maybe it will make it a lot harder for them to get rid of the wheels. Or maybe even something better could come out of it," Pegg said in a Facebook post from early Friday.

He noted that the tires are Cooper Zeon and the wheels are 17 inch Ninja NJ 10. Pegg said he'll be filing a report with Saskatoon police Friday evening.

"It's brutal how crime has sky-rocketed in Saskatoon," he said.
