The manager of a pharmacy in Yorkton, Sask., says workers there are shaken after the business was robbed at gunpoint Thursday morning.

Terry Yaremko, who's in charge of Hearn's Westview Pharmacy, told CBC News the robbers wanted oxycodone, a pain medication often re-sold on the streets.

But Yaremko said the crooks dropped a lot of the medication as they were fleeing the scene.

The pharmacy is located across the street from the Yorkton Regional Health Centre.

Police are investigating.
