Police in Regina say a woman who was found dead in an industrial-commercial area Wednesday night was the victim of a homicide.

The body of 21-year-old Kelly Goforth was discovered in the east back alley of the 1700 block of McAra St. east of the downtown around 7 p.m. CST.

Earlier, police received a call that there was a sick or injured person in the alley, which is in an industrial-commercial area.
