Woman in water cut by boat propeller
A Saskatchewan woman is in hospital with multiple cuts after being hit with a propeller in the water at Buffalo Pound Lake.
RCMP said it happened Saturday at around 6 p.m.
A 23-year-old woman left the boat and was hit by the propeller as it passed over top of her in the water.
The woman was taken to hospital in Moose Jaw, south of the lake.
Despite multiple lacerations, she is expected to recover, police said.
The 24-year-old man driving the boat, a Moose Jaw resident, has been charged with operating a vessel with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit, causing bodily harm.
He is scheduled to make his first court appearance Sept. 1 in Moose Jaw provincial court.
