A woman is dead after a vehicle rolled on a rural road north of Esterhazy, Sask. on Wednesday.

The accident happened around 3 a.m. CST on Redpath Road, about 16 kilometres north of the town.

When police and emergency crews arrived, they found a 38-year-old woman outside the vehicle suffering from serious injuries.

She was taken to hospital in Esterhazy, where she was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating how the rollover happened. There was nothing wrong with road conditions at the time of the crash, the RCMP said.

Police haven't released the name or home community of the woman.
