There was a hubbub at an Irish pub in Saskatoon Tuesday night when a driver accidentally crashed her vehicle into the establishment.

It happened at around 11:30 p.m. CST at Dublin's Irish Pub and Grill at 3322 Fairlight Drive on the west side of the city, Saskatoon police said.

A 56-year-old woman was pulling up the the pub when instead of hitting the brakes, she accidentally pushed the gas pedal, police said.

The vehicle crashed through the wall of the business, causing extensive damage to the vehicle and the pub.

Although the pub was open at the time, no one was hurt.

The woman was ticketed for driving without due care and attention.

Alcohol was not a factor according to police.

The pub's damaged wall was boarded up on Wednesday morning.
