A 38-year-old woman died in a rollover crash on the Big River First Nation Tuesday, RCMP said in a press release.
The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. CST when an extended cab pickup truck drove off a grid road, hit the ditch and rolled.
Police said the woman who died was ejected from the truck in the rollover. There were three other people in the truck. Two of them were taken to hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
Police said the woman who died was Evelyn Rose Lewis of the Witchekan First Nation.
The Big River First Nation is northwest of Prince Albert, Sask. The Big River RCMP were investigating the crash.
