Regina's weather, traffic and gas prices for Wednesday

Here's what you need to know to start your morning.

High of –4 C, gas prices steady, tree trimming on Winnipeg Street

  • Cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of flurries and a high of –4 C, Environment Canada says. Wind southeast 20 km/h becoming light this morning. Wind becoming southeast 30 km/h near noon.

Gas prices

  • The average price of gas in the city remains unchanged at 88.8 cents per litre of regular.
  • Regina Messenger continues to have the lowest price at 81.9 cents per litre. Regina Cabs is a close second with gas at 82.9 cents per litre, according to


  • Drivers should consider alternate routes as city crews prune trees along Winnipeg Street.

  • Winnipeg from College Avenue to 15th Avenue will be closed for two days starting today (it will be open during evening hours).

  • Check the city's construction and maintenance zones here.
