Regina's weather, traffic and gas prices for Friday

Here's what you need to know to start your morning.

High of –16 C, gas prices steady, Victoria Avenue East closed for early morning crash

The weather has turned colder, with a high of -16 C in Regina on Friday. (CBC)


  • It's colder than yesterday. Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of flurries. Wind north 20 km/h. High  –16 C.

Gas prices

  • The average price of gas in the city remains unchanged at 88.6 cents per litre of regular.
  • Regina Messenger continues to have the lowest price at 79.9 cents per litre. Regina Cabs is a close second with gas at 81.9 cents per litre, according to


  • Victoria Avenue east was closed in the early morning hours between the Ring Road and Park Street.

  • Detours are in place at the intersection of Pinkie Road and 13th Avenue today so that crews can do some work on a railway crossing.
