Truck crashes into side of train near Estevan

Two men driving in a pick-up truck near Estevan have minor injuries after crashing into a train.

RCMP say alcohol not believed to be a factor, and charges may be pending.

Two men driving in a pick-up truck near Estevan have minor injuries after crashing into a train, but they may be facing charges.

RCMP say the truck crashed into side of the train around 5:30 p.m. CST on Saturday about one kilometre southeast of the city.

There were no injuries to people aboard the train, and no spills or derailments. 

Both men were taken to the hospital with what police call minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

RCMP are still investigating the crash. They say alcohol is not believed to be a factor, however charges may be pending.
