Trans-Canada very icy east of Regina, RCMP warn
Travel not recommended from Sintaluta to Grenfell
RCMP in Saskatchewan are advising motorists to avoid a stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway east of Regina because of icy conditions.
Police and the provincial Highways Hotline say travel between Sintaluta and Grenfell, a stretch of road about 40 kilometres long, is particularly bad.
Police are recommending drivers "avoid or use extreme caution while traveling on this portion of the highway."
The affected area is about 110 kilometres east of Regina.
