Train hits school bus in Carlyle, Sask.

A school bus transporting seven children was struck by a train in Carlyle, Sask. on Monday afternoon. 

The collision happened when an eastbound train hit the passenger side of a southbound school bus at the railway crossing on Fourth Street East.

RCMP in Carlyle said one child received minor scratches after suffering a scraped leg. All the passengers were examined by EMS and they have been released to family members.

No charges have been laid.
