Fire has destroyed a fire chief's business in Davidson, Sask., about 110 kilometres southeast of Saskatoon.

The fire at Napa Auto Parts was reported around 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday night.

The Davidson and Craik volunteer fire departments fought the blaze and were able to prevent the fire from spreading, but could not save the business.

Three buildings burned. The business is owned by Clayton Schilling and his father Milton. Clayton Schilling is the volunteer fire chief in Davidson.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No one was reported injured.

Davidson is a town of about 960 residents.
