Tentative agreement reached in Degelman's contract dispute
Workers have been on strike for 17 days
A tentative agreement has been reached and a 17-day strike appears over at a farm equipment plant in Regina.
The 150 unionized employees at Degelman Industries at 272 Industrial Dr. on the north edge of the city had been off the job since Feb. 10.
A vote on the proposed agreement will take place on Saturday. Wages have been a major issue, but no details have been released.
It's actually the second tentative agreement reached for this contract. The union and Degelman came to their original agreement last November, but workers rejected it.
