Super-soaker of a weekend in Saskatchewan, but sunshine coming
Cypress Hills Park among the wettest spots in province
It rained all weekend in much of southern Saskatchewan — ruining a few camping trips and sending people scrambling to their basements with wet-vacs.
Cypress Hills Park was one of the rainiest spots, with 78.2 millimetres falling between Friday evening and late Sunday night.
Saskatoon got little more than a sprinkling, but many communities in the south got drenched.
Regina, for example, received 53.8 mm, with more rain falling Sunday night.
