Sudden death of Kamsack teen not suspicious, RCMP say
There is no foul play suspected in the death of a 16-year-old boy whose body was found in a vacant lot in Kamsack, Sask., Saturday evening, the RCMP say.
Officers responded to the call in the 100 block of 1st Street.
There is no information on how the teen died. An autopsy is expected to be performed later in the week.
Officers from Regina Major Crimes and Yorkton Forensic Identification Section were there to assist with the investigation.
Police have now released the scene.
The boy's family has been notified but his name has not been released. Kamsack is located about 270 kilometres northeast of Regina.
