Emergency crews in Saskatoon are warning people to stay off the South Saskatchewan River at this time of year.
Five people were rescued after being stuck in the middle of the river Friday evening, near Pembina Avenue.
They were in an amphibious all-terrain vehicle that can travel on snow and water, but it started taking on water and had mechanical problems.
