Man lying on Hwy 2 run over, killed

RCMP are investigating a fatal collision north of Prince Albert, Sask. about one kilometre south of Christopher Lake, Sask.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Highway 2 at about 5:45 a.m. CST, after a 34-year-old man was run over by a vehicle while he was lying on the road.
The man was in critical condition when paramedics transported him to Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, about 40 kilometres south of Christopher Lake.
He died later Sunday morning.
There is no information on why the he was lying on the highway or how the collision happened.
The man's family is being contacted. His name has not been released.
Highway 2 was closed for most of Sunday morning while police investigated.
