There's a Saskatchewan connection to Argo, the acclaimed movie that's been nominated for some Oscars.
Escape from Iran: The Hollywood Option, produced by Partners in Motion and directed by Regina's Chris Triffo, is being attached to the Argo Blu-Ray.
Argo is up for several Academy Awards on Sunday night and is bringing more attention to Triffo's film.
"I mean, this is an international caper," Triffo said, referring to the 1979 story behind his film and Argo.
"It's worthy of a movie and it now is a movie. I'm really proud of the team that I worked with and the fact that everybody that worked on this was from Saskatchewan."
Among the Oscar categories Argo has been nominated in is Best Picture.
Partners in Motion used to be based in Regina but last September announced it had relocated its corporate offices to B.C.
Regina's Chris Triffo is delighted his documentary Escape from Iran: The Hollywood Option will be on the Argo Blu-ray. (CBC)
