Regina Fire Services respond to an electrical problem in a downtown Regina alley. (Tory Gillis/CBC )

Fire crews were called to downtown Regina after an electrical malfunction in an alley set off alarms in several office buildings Monday afternoon.

Firefighters took care of the smoke.

Scarth Street was blocked off for some time.

No injures were reported.
