Saskatoon's 8th Street reopens after water main break

City crews have managed to stop the flooding on 8th Street East in Saskatoon and reopen a stretch of road that was closed for most of Sunday morning.
Eastbound lanes on 8th Street East at Clarence Avenue and westbound lanes at Wiggins Avenue were closed because of a large amount of water from a water main break.
Police said there was flooding from the 1000 block to 1200 block of 8th Street East.
The water was coming from the basement of a house on the corner of Munroe Avenue. Power to the house was shut down and its occupants were evacuated because of the rising water levels.
