Two people are dead after a three-vehicle crash near Carlyle, Sask., Saturday afternoon.

It happened about 20 kilometres south of Carlyle at the junction of Highway 9 and Highway 361.

Police are advising traffic will be re-routed around the intersection where the crash happened, so motorists should expect delays.

The names of the two victims have not been released.

There is no word on what caused the crash.

According to Highway Hotline, blowing snow in the area was causing reduced visibility on highways.

Carlyle is located about 200 kilometres southeast of Regina.
