A 22-year-old man from the Toronto, Ont., area faces drug related charges after being arrested in Regina.

Plain clothes officers spotted a suspicious van on the 1000 block of Robinson Street at about 7:45 p.m. CST Friday.

With the help of canine and patrol units, police pulled the van over — where they found what appeared to be drug related property on the driver's seat.

The man was taken into police custody and his van was sized.

After searching the vehicle police discovered a significant quantity of cash.

The 22-year-old from Brampton is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and marijuana and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.
