12 crash in Saskatoon amid icy conditions

Saskatoon police responded to 12 crashes Friday morning as icy conditions made driving treacherous.
None of the crashes resulted in serious injuries.
They were asking motorists to slow down and drive with caution. They were also advising people to take extra precautions on bridges, as many have become icy.
Around the province, ice-covered roads were making some roads treacherous in the morning, particularly around Weyburn and North Battleford, where for several hours travel was not recommended.
