RCMP will use social media to give a sense of the goings-on at their 911 call centre. (The Canadian Press)

Saskatchewan Mounties shared some of the goings-on at their 911 call centre using the social media tool, Twitter.

A special hashtag, #copcalls, allowed interested people to follow the RCMP's messages

The goal was to give people a sense of what call-takers experience during a typical evening.

Their tweets were sent out Thursday night between 6 and 10 p.m. CST.
