Evidence of a booming economy in Saskatchewan may be seen in the types of vehicles people are driving.
According to recent statistics, the sale of brand new vehicles in Saskatchewan is very strong, compared to the rest of Canada.
As well, many buyers in the province are choosing high-end luxury cars.
While that category is subjective, the number of fancy cars on the road in Saskatchewan have more than tripled in the last ten years.
Part of that growth, some say, is due to an attitude shift.
"Mentalities have changed," Les Fenyes, a BMW dealer in Saskatoon, told CBC News. "[People] are much more apt to reward themselves today than they have in the past. I remember a day when it was considered embarrassing to be pretentious. People today don't see themselves as pretentious."
Fenyes added he has seen Lamborghinis and Aston Martins rolling through Saskatoon, recently.
Last fall, the first-ever Porsche dealership for the province opened in Saskatoon.
According to information on registrations from the province's car insurance company SGI, the number of luxury vehicles on the road has gone from 4,981 ten years ago to 17,785 in 2012.
