Fire just outside Saskatoon damages home

Saskatoon firefighters have put out a fire that has caused substantial damage to a two-storey home.
Crews responded to a report of a house fire in River Gardens Estates just of Valley Road at about 6 p.m. CST.
Several fire trucks drove to the scene of a fully involved home.
The home owners also arrived on scene and confirmed there was no one in the home at the time of the fire.
Officials said the home was undergoing renovations, which were recently finished.
There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
Crews were still on scene at about 7:35 p.m. CST.
Damage is estimated to be about $450,000.
