Young people sometimes spend their Christmas breaks snowboarding or sleeping in – but not the group that has occupied the Saskatchewan Legislature in recent days.

It’s Youth Parliament, a mock legislature run by teens with its own government and cabinet.

Standing in the legislative chamber, they’ve been debating resolutions, including ones dealing with vote-selling and changing the wages of teachers.
