A charter bus that was supposed to take hockey players to Melville burst into flames in Saskatoon on Sunday.
It happened around 9 a.m. CST at the parking lot of the Country Inn and Suites near the airport
According to the fire department, nobody was hurt when the heater at the back of the bus ignited, sending flames and black smoke out the back.
The girl's hockey team was from Melville and was returning home, CBC has been told.
Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames. A bystander recorded the fire on video and uploaded it to YouTube.
"It was black smoke like crazy," says the man narrating the video. "The next thing I know, she's on fire."
The bus was a total loss, the fire department said.
A YouTube video showed the back of the bus engulfed in flames. (YouTube)
