Regina police are investigating after the body of a man was found Sunday at the CP railyards in the warehouse district.

The discovery close to the 2200 block of Dewdney Ave., was made by a CP employee around 1 p.m. CST.

Officers were called in from the forensic identification and major crimes sections, as well as the coroner.

Since then, police have learned the identity of the victim, although they haven't released the name.

Police said the death is considered suspicious, but haven't released any details about the cause.

Police said they had secured the area while the investigation continues.
