Circle Drive completion stalled until July 2013, Saskatoon says

A major road project in Saskatoon will not be completed until July 2013, city officials say.
The Circle Drive South extension was supposed to be finished in September.
When that deadline came and went, the city said portions of the roadway might be opened to traffic this winter. However, that will not happen.
On Friday, officials said heavy snow and freezing rain hampered construction work and crews will return in the spring to finish the job for next summer.
Some work, however, will be done in the winter months, the city noted.
The new completion date is July 31.
According to officials, the $300 million project is still on budget.
