A man with a firearm robbed a gas station in Saskatoon early Saturday morning, police say.

According to police, the robbery took place around 6:50 a.m. CST at a gas station in the 1600 block of Idylwyld Drive North.

A man, in his 20s, demanded money from the clerk while brandishing a firearm.

The suspect fled on foot with a small amount of cash. No one was hurt during the robbery.

Police responded right away and tried to track down the suspect with a police dog, but the suspect could not be found.
