It's believed a moose on the highway caused a crash near Big River, Sask. on Tuesday that claimed the life of a truck driver.
The crash happened Tuesday around 3 a.m. CST on Highway 55, about 35 kilometres north of the town.
Police believe the southbound truck hit the moose, rolled into the ditch and caught on fire.
A passerby found the driver dead inside the vehicle.
An autopsy is scheduled for later this week to confirm the identity of the driver, the RCMP said.
