Murder trial to go ahead in death of Bladworth man

Two men who are facing first-degree murder charges will stand trial.
Darak More and Devin Schmit are accused of robbing and killing Bladworth resident Roberto Vicente two years ago.
A massive search was launched for Vicente in 2010 after his burned-out car was found on a farm near Davidson. His body was found four months later.
On Monday, a preliminary hearing began to determine if the Crown's case was strong enough to take to trial.
That hearing was supposed to last more than a week. However, on Tuesday, the two agreed to forgo the rest of the hearing and proceed directly to trial on first-degree murder.
A date for the Queen's Bench trial hasn't been set yet.
