200 evacuated in Regina after gas leak

About 200 people were evacuated from offices and shops in east-central Regina Wednesday morning after a road construction crew hit a gas line.
It happened at St. John Street and 4th Avenue around 8:30 a.m. CST.
Most of the people from a school board building and a food distribution centre were sent home for the morning.
Fire officials expected it to take several hours to fix the broken line. The repairs were due to be complete by noon.
No one was hurt.
