One person is dead and seven others were rushed to hospital after a two-vehicle crash near Carnduff, Sask., on Monday.

The vehicles collided at around 6:25 p.m. CST on Highway 318, about 10 kilometres north of the town, RCMP said.

One person died at the scene and seven received injuries and were taken to hospital. No other details were immediately available.

Carnduff is about 300 kilometres southeast of Regina.
