A 25-year-old man is in hospital following an industrial accident in Saskatoon on Tuesday.
It happened some time after 10 a.m. CST at Vitran Express, a freight and distribution company in the city's north end.
The worker was trying to change a tire when he got pinned under a forklift.
The man was hit in the head, and his hand was also hurt.
Fire crews had to use air-lifting bags to lift the 1,360-kilogram machine off the man's hand.
Occupational Health and Safety officials are investigating.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening, police said.
