Qu'Appelle man killed in crash near Balgonie

A 40-year-old man from the Qu'Appelle area is dead after a highway crash near Regina Wednesday evening.
It happened just west of Balgonie at the intersection of Highways 1 and 46 at about 5:30 p.m. CST.
The RCMP said a northbound car collided with a westbound vehicle.
The 40-year-old man from the northbound car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The female driver of the westbound car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
There were no passengers in either of the vehicles.
The dead man's name has not been released.
An RCMP accident reconstruction team is investigating the cause of the crash.
