Prince Albert police say there are investigating two arson cases that happened within a few hours of each other on Saturday afternoon.

The first happened at a home in the 1300 block of 7th Street East at around 4:30 p.m.

A few hours later, several blocks north from the first location, a fire was reported at another house on Brock Place.

Police said both fires were deliberately set.

Police have not said whether they are connected.

There is no word yet on anyone being injured in the fires or if police have any suspects.
