Regina Public Library wokers have accepted a new contract offer. (CBC)Regina Public Library workers have voted to accept terms of a new collective bargaining agreement.
About 180 workers, members of Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 1594, have been without a contract for about 30 months.
The workers, who briefly went on strike in May, have accepted a tentative agreement reched last week that includes wage increases retroactive to 2010, a four per cent wage increase next year and health and dental benefits extended to both full and part time workers.
