Tisdale man, 70, dies in crash

A Tisdale, Sask., man is dead after his vehicle crashed into a ditch Monday afternoon.
Albert Van Oene, 70, was the lone occupant in the vehicle that lost control, spun and went off a grid road into a ditch, the RCMP said.
Around 4:50 p.m. CST, emergency crews were sent to the scene on a grid road northwest of town, the RCMP said.
They found the vehicle had come to a stop on its passenger side. The next of kin have been notified, the RCMP said.
